My baby is so smart!! As you know he's not much of a talker, he only says a few words, but today, we were reading his ABC book and when we came to "E", he said, "E!!". He's said "E" before, but we weren't sure if he knew what he was saying or what it was etc. I guess all that reading of the ABC book is finally paying off! It's so cute, he kept saying "E" over and over and then when we went back to it later he did it again. I also showed him his "E" magnet and he did the same thing. Man, it's amazing when they pick something like this up!! I know it may sound silly, but like I said, he's still not talking much so this is just huge, to know he's finally ready to start saying things on command so to speak and to realize he can say something and convey a message to us. Yay.
To further brag on his intelligence, he knows what a circle is, a square and a triangle. He knows the color red but I'm not sure if he really knows any others yet. And he seems to be getting the understanding on how to count things, thanks to his newest Baby Einstein counting book. This is all just in addition of course to all the other cool stuff he's able to do. I won't bore you, but it's so cool for us as parents!!
