So what if I'm two weeks late....The party turned out great, it was a nice day (although a little cold), but we had a nice time BBQing and hanging out with friends/family. DJ got lots of cool gifts- he got a nice mix of toys and clothing, with a few savings bonds as well. Oh, my sister got him the best gift- a bound hardcover book with pictures over the last year of him/us. I posted a pic here of me holding it up. Very cool!

DJ turned a year old on 9/14. A big change from the little guy we brought home from the hospital! He went from 6lb 14oz & 19 ½” to 19lb 4oz & 29 ¼”. He’s walking, saying mama & dada, waving hello/goodbye, stacking blocks and playing patty-cake. He likes to play ball, listen/dance to music, look at books, play peek-a-boo and chase the cats around the house. He has eight teeth. His favorite foods are: cheese, yogurt, watermelon, pancakes with syrup and veggies with hummus. He’s grown so much from that tiny, helpless baby...and we couldn’t be more proud!
