Last night we went to the Aerosmith concert. I'd been waiting 9 years to see them. I had tickets in 98 and 99, but both times ended up missing the concert.
For $200, I was expecting a spectacular show! While, it was pretty awesome, partly because I'd been waiting forever.....and also because they did put on a great show. What energy for 60-something guys!!
However, here was their playlist: Elevator Same Old Song Cryin Rats Pink What It Takes Last Child Baby Please Movin' Out Walkin' The Dog Dream On SOS Too Bad Edge Stop Messin Sweet E Draw The Line
Encore Walk This Way
Now, I've been an Aerosmith fan for a long time, but not THAT long. Late 80's.....so, unfortunately, a lot of the songs I didn't know! Most were still pretty good though. However, notice a few favorites missing?! I was left waiting to hear: Ragdoll, Dude Looks like a Lady, Janie's got a Gun, Other Side, Angel, Eat the Rich, Amazing, Just Push Play, Jaded. Mainly the first few, I mean, come on, at least RagDoll and Dude!!
Oh, and let me add, I'm not the biggest fan of their late 90's stuff, that wasn't so much what I was asking for, Don't Want to Miss a Thing was SO over-played I still don't care for it!
Sigh. So, unhappily I have to say that I was pretty disappointed. They were at least on stage for 2 hours. I guess there just wasn't enough time.
