My sisters wedding shower was Sunday. It was a blast!! All of her bridesmaids are very cool and they all did a great job in making it very special and fun for everyone. Of course, it went by too fast, and I'm sure it went by even quicker for Rosie. I tell ya what, I was so happy to get home from a shower and NOT have to lug in a ton of stuff, find a place to put it all, etc.! My mom wasn't even TOO bad. Below are some pics.

Saturday night Dave and I had a couples night out with Ron and Liza and Holly and John! It was a lot of fun and so nice to be able to get out with friends. I have started worrying more about leaving DJ though. It's funny, I didn't worry nearly as much when he was a newborn! Anyway, only one small mishap, he got electracuted. Chris and Stacey were watching him, and well, ok, he didn't exactly get electracuted, but he got a ZAP. See, I have his monitor in his bed, and it has a cord that you can remove and the other end is plugged into the wall. Well, I always place him on the other side of the bed, and he does not move around much yet, so he has no way of getting to it, when I put him in the crib. I should have mentioned to Stacey, but didn't think of it. She put him on the other side, right next to it. I mean RIGHT next to it. Anyway, as he loves to bite and chew and grab, you can guess what happened. She heard a scream and found him with the cord in his mouth. We tested it, the zap isn't bad, similar to a 9volt, but less because it's a tiny spot that zaps you. Needless to say it's out of the crib now. I actually had a sense of humor about it, like I said, it wasn't much, but I'm sure it was horrible for him. Poor Baby. Well Liza, no crayon on the walls...

Hmm. What else? My moms birthday is tomorrow so I'm having them over for dinner. It was going to be really simple- spaghetti and meatballs with salad, garlic bread and dessert. In usual Theresa fashion it has turned into a production and I spent something like $30 at the store today on things like wine and bruschetta and romaine lettuce....Oh well. I try to watch my spending, since we're on one income, but sometimes I get carried away! On Sunday we'll give my mom her BIG gift, which is a gift cert. for a bed and breakfast. Proudly, it was my idea. I hope she likes it! Even though she drives me NUTS, she does a lot for us, or did. Oh, she's turning 60!! I figured we should do something bigger than normal.

I guess I should finish cleaning because I know DJ is going to wake up soon. We went in again today to get his helmet adjusted. He's doing great in it, and I can already see correction. It was too loose on his head though and it kept hitting his ears, thus the trip. I'll have to post some new pics of him soon, he's getting so big!! Especially now that he's eating solids 3 times a day.
