A lot of insurances think that plagiocephaly is cosmetic, but it is not. There can be medical reprocussions later in life! Plus, this isn't like we're fixing something we dont' like on him, it's actual bones that have been basically damaged on him and altered, we just want them back to "normal"!

However, hubby and I have decided we're going to get it anyway, even if the ins. isn't covering it. The lady at Becker said they might be able to work us a bit of a deal, since the helmet is $1700! The insurance discount price is $1024, so I'm hoping they might let us have it for that, because if we were to say, forget it, they'd be stuck with this custom helmet they made!!

Geez, and on the same day that Dave's car needs $500 in repairs! Oh, and repairs that they should have fixed under his warranty, but they wouldn't and now it's expired and WE have to pay for it! A wasted half day off for Dave, and now he's going to have to take time off tomorrow as well......Lovely.
